The Queensland Rugby Club has embarked upon an exciting project that will provide new Brisbane CBD facilities for our members. The new development, to be known as Rugby Quay, is adjacent to the iconic Riverside Centre building on Eagle Street and overlooks the Brisbane River.
The Rugby Quay development offers facilities exclusively for members including a new Members Dining Room seating 80 guests, a Members Bar and Terrace and a Benefactor Lounge.
The Board of the Club are very excited to be providing our members with a new Rugby Club which will rank as one of the best in the world, in an unparalleled CBD location.
In bringing the new Rugby Quay development to fruition, we seek the support of our members and the wider rugby family and are therefore extending an invitation to a limited number of people and organisations to become Benefactors of the Queensland Rugby Club.
To join this elite group, which will be limited to a maximum of 250 members, individuals and organisations are invited to make a one-off contribution of $10,000 + GST to the Club. In addition to being recognised as a significant supporter of the establishment of Rugby Quay, Benefactors can be assured that they have made a significant contribution to the on-going development of grassroots rugby in Queensland.
Beyond our sincere gratitude and acknowledgement, Benefactors will have the tangible benefit of exclusive access to the prestigious Benefactor Lounge which will be situated within the new Club at Rugby Quay. Attended by a dedicated full-time butler/concierge, it will offer full business lounge facilities and services for our esteemed Benefactors. A Benefactor Honour Board will be located at the entry to the Club and will provide testament to our generous contributors. In addition, all future Queensland Rugby Club annual membership subscription fees will be waived for the life of each individual Benefactor (15 years for Corporate Benefactors).
